William Henry Harris, AIA, President
A native of Richmond and graduate of St. Christopher’s School, “Harry” Harris attended the University of Virginia for his undergraduate degree as well as his Master of Architecture Degree in 1974. After working for several years with other Virginia architectural firms, Harry founded William Henry Harris & Associates in 1983 to serve the churches in central and Tidewater Virginia.
His design eperience has included the following building types: educational facilities including elementary, secondary and high schools, vocational-technical schools, colleges, and universities; athletic facilities including gymnasiums, stadiums, and recreation centers; church or church-related projects including sanctuaries, educational buildings, fellowship halls, family life centers, and youth/adult retreat centers; housing including custom residential and multi-family; commercial buildings including retail stores, shopping centers, motels, banks, mini-storage warehouses, professional offices, corporate offices, and restaurants; parks and visitor center design; governmental facilities including courts and offices; and correctional facilities.
